Take a Walk, Ski, Snowshoe or Hit the Mountains on Your Bike or ATV
There are trails (and horseback riding) all along the hills east of Provo and up into the Canyon. You can find
Snowshoeing, Cross-Country and Downhill Skiing nearby in winter or take part of the trail up to Mt. Timpanogas..Rentals for bikes, e-bikes and ATV's are plentiful.

Depending when you come,
you can stay for a musical, play or comedy night: visit the Timpanogas Storytelling Festival, hear an Opera at BYU
or UVU; catch a musical, skiing, or a full moon lift ride at Sundance (and that's just the beginning of things to do there!), attend a football or basketball game,, visit nearby museums, or run a marathon (is that cultural? Free shower here afterward before your analysis!).

Take the Scenic Route
Just getting here can be a pleasure. Whether you come
down through the Provo Canyon with its waterfalls and evergreen woods, down from Salt Lake City and even further north with the views of the Wasatch Range and glorious
Mt. Timpanogos, or up through the changing landscape of Southern Utah, a car ride is the perfect opportunity to unwind and anticipate your coming analysis. Bring a friend and drive the carpool lane for an even. better experience ;)
Visit the Provo Canyon
Take a spectacular ride on an old-time train from Vivian Park up to the Heber Valley, passing Deer Creek Reservoir. They offer themed rides throughout the year and a snack bar for your trip. Or you may enjoy
stopping by the breathtaking
Bridal Veil Falls and dipping your toes in the icy water below.
There are trails in abundance throughout the canyon.
Enjoy Our Beautiful City
Provo has a great variety of things to do not already mentioned. You can shop at the Riverwoods or bring your family and send them off for more adventurous ziplining, speeding down a slide at a waterpark, or climbing up to the Timpanogas Caves. There are trails in the city,
as well as at nearby at Rock Canyon. And if you are looking for quiet introspection, visit one of the nearby Temple grounds.
